Topic: GoJournalism Explained – Benefits for Journalists.
Guest speaker: Joe Banks, Where: Room 156, Library and Archives Canada.

Saturday, January 21, 2012: Topic: workshop – How to Get Work with the Federal Government: A Guide to Figuring Out the Procurement Puzzle. Guest speaker: author Marion Soubliere.

Monday, February 13: Katherine Day and Wayne Jackson will discuss their book River, Road and Rail – Woodroffe Memories. The book captures 90 years of life, through memories of 84 residents, tracing the history of Woodroffe Village from the days of the First Nations through to the arrival of the Honeywell family and beyond.

Monday, April 16 - Shari Graydon, will discuss her career as Media literacy communicator, former president of a women’s organization now called Media Action, columnist, and award winning author.

May – date TBA – Launch for book about founding members of the Canadian Women’s Press Club, The Sweet Sixteen with author Linda Kay, Associate Journalism Professor, Concordia University
