Cécile Laberge (1860-1948)

In 1904 Cécile Laberge was one of 16 women journalist was one of 16 Canadian womsen journalist who travelled together aboard a Canadian Pacific Railway train to cover the St. Louis World Fair for their respective newspaper or magazine .Although she wrote about the St. Louis World Fair for the Quebec City newspaper Le Soleil, she became a musician instead of a journalist. Before her death at age 87 Laberge wrote a book in English documenting the 50-year history of the Ladies’ Morning Musical Club
