Ottawa author Frances Itani is the recipient of the 2021 Matt Cohen Award, which honours a lifetime of distinguished work. But winning awards is not new for Itani. Frances Itani was one of our guest speakers in March 2008 when she spoke about her then new book, Remembering the Bones. In December 2020 she also contributed an article for us about her book The Company We Keep (published in 2020) and about book publishing during a pandemic. Her article was published on our website in December 2020. You can find it at www.mediaclubofottawa.ca
