A second year journalism student at the college last year, Maggie van Lith had the highest GPA of all the returning students.

She was photo editor of the Algonquin Times newspaper last term and is currently managing editor of Glue magazine. Journalism teacher Julie McCann says she is a skilled news reporter and covered the October 2 weekend situation in Sandy Hiill after the Panda game for the Algonquin Times
