Kate Playfair is currently in the journalism program at Algonquin College and is the winner of the 2023 Melba Lent Woeflé Award. She worked as the senior editor of the Algonquin Times and will be returning for her final year in the Fall. Kate enjoys writing and reading stories that grip readers from the first sentence and looks forward to a career in writing.
